Coaching Baseball Practice

 The more I coached baseball, the more we used a situation scrimmage to finish practice, runner on first no outs etc. Because finishing the game is often a problem, playing a 1 or 2 inning game with game tied, or one team being ahead 1 or 2 runs, is productive and fun. If you don’t have two complete teams divide them into 3 with 2 of them in the field and see who can win the 1 or 2 inning game. The drill is one of many outlined in the iBook, Practice Baseball to Win.
