Coaching Baseball Throwing-us the whole body to be your best

When coaching baseball, after introducing the grip to players learning to throw the baseball, it is important that they begin to see how the whole body should be involved. Because the fingers and wrists play such an important role, it’s important they get the feel of how they work. Start by isolating the wrist and applying the force with the fingers and wrist directly through the center of the ball so that it spins from 12 to 6 on a clock.  The drill in this video from the iBook, Practice Baseball to Win, is step one in the process of getting all of the available parts involved. For more about the book go to:
