Phil Swimley

    • High School All Conference player
    • California State J.C. All Conference pitcher and outfielder, pitched perfect game in state playoffs.  Team won State Title.
    • University of Washington All Century team
    • Pitched 2 hitter to win Semi final National Semi-pro semi final game and closed the final game for the title.
    • Four years in NY Yankee minor league organization as an  outfielder
    • 903 wins as Head Coach, University of California, Davis, and taught, Coaching Baseball for teacher prep students, and a summer class for high school coaches.
    • Organized and Conducted summer youth camps at UCD.
    • Taught baseball class for Bulgarian coaches and conducted a clinic for youth players and their national team.
    • American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Board of Directors, and national convention speaker 4 times. Topics were, Practice Organization, Pitching arm action, Pitching mechanics, and Shoulder anatomy.
    • Two years as volunteer High School pitching and hitting coach after retiring from UCD.  5 pitchers and 5 position players played in D-1 programs and 4 have signed pro contracts.

  • Currently a volunteer high school pitching coach.
