The more I coached baseball, the more we turned to including a situation scrimmage to finish practice, runner on first no outs etc. Finishing the game is often a problem, because  things change when it’s the last inning and you are two runs ahead or down. If you don’t have two complete teams, divide them into 3 with 2 of them in the field, and see who can win the 1 or 2 inning game.
